Mission Trip 2014: Feeding Program

While Nuvali, Sta. Rosa is considered as one of the prettiest part of Laguna because of its gorgeous landscape, there are also places on the other side of Sta. Rosa where you will find some of the poorest people.

Pastor Mike Sanches started a feeding program ministry to the kids and parents in some squatter areas in Sta. Rosa Laguna and other places nearby. He first share the gospel to the kids and then they feed them afterwards.

It was a wonderful opportunity to witness this ministry with our very own eyes. Please enjoy the selected pictures we have taken during the program.

See how simple things can make them happy.
He loves making "handsome pose"
No table available but chair will do.
They're lovin' their group meals.
Another group enjoying their food.
The local government sent these guys to offer free haircut
and helped spread the news about the feeding program.
The group picture taken with the pastor in the area
and the wife of the vice mayor of Laguna.
A lady cleaning her front yard.
Some of the houses in the area.
Kid's and parents in line for the hair cut and
was excited once they saw us.

I love how the local government in Laguna assisted us by providing the shade
and chairs and the extra services to offer like this free hair cut.

Arrival at the feeding program venue.

We gave out candies for the kids too.

Kid's and parent's listening to the kid's before feeding them.
These bread called "pan de sal" was handed out to them.
P.S we all cleaned our hands before handing them out to the kids.
The vice-mayors wife helping us handout the food.
Now they are eating happily.
