We consider it one of the greatest opportunity of our lives to serve the Lord, who first loved us through serving the Filipino people and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord placed us in a church that truly takes missions and evangelism seriously. He providentially sent Dr. Tony Gatdula, a Pastor and the founder of Medmissions2000 Inc., in our lives. It has been such a wonderful opportunity to be able to partner with this organization in this evangelism ministry.

The Medmissions2000 Inc. was established in May 28, 2000 with the vision of providing medical treatment to the poor indigenous Philippines Citizens, with the primary goal of evangelism to the glory of God. It is a non-profit organization registered as 501(C)(3) by the IRS. The ministry has provided free medical, surgical and dental treatments as well as spiritual counseling. Every patients and family treated are given the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Professional MDs, RNs and the like together with pastors, evangelist and Christian workers from the United States and the Philippines team-up to give physical and spiritual healing for God's glory.

This evangelistic ministry is usually and short-term mission lasting for two weeks. Since 1999, professionals, college and high school students and non-medical volunteers have participated in fulfilling the Great Commission. Every volunteer workers are requested to raise support for airline tickets, food and lodging.

In John 4:35b, Jesus said,

"Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields that they are white for harvest."
