Medical Mission 2014: God's Providence Displayed

The Lord is an all-knowing God who work in ways we can not comprehend. We could be the best planner but it is the Lord's will that is done. Being part of the medical mission for few years now, we have seen how bad circumstances in our eyes turned into good. This is just one of His way to show us that He is in-charge of everything, that is sovereign over all and that is a good provider.

We were short-handed when it comes to doctor due to several circumstances our local doctors had to go through this month. Most of them were not able to get some days off to be able to participate but the Lord still provided a sufficient number of doctors. On the first day of the medical mission, He provided us with a doctor, whose name is Dr. Joy Tica. She has been involve in many medical missions and prison ministry as well.

Dr. Tica donated a lot of medicine because we were not able to get the boxes of medicines which have sent ahead of time. Thankfully, each of us who are from the US carried some in our luggages.

On the second day, the Lord provided more doctors when these two doctors came in assistance to us. They were sent by the local government and they had brought with them some medicines to give away too. Thank you Doctor Christian Masaga and the other unknown doctor.

These Police officers came to assist us during the medical mission as well. The Lord is truly good.

We truly appreciate how the Lord use the local government to give us assistance during the medical mission, feeding program and prison ministry and we were blessed with the presence of the vice mayor of the City of Cabuyao, Hon. Rommel A. Gecolea during the medical mission.

One of the city officials also provided this shade for people who are waiting in line outside the building.

These group of ladies were students in training from ALS (Alternative Learning System). They were able to give free services such as hair cut, manicure and pedicure, facial care and massage to the people, which makes the people happy and in return helped the trainees complete their training requirements.
