About Us

Michael and Lannie Armstrong

Welcome to our blog! We are happy that you have stopped by!

We have been involved in missions for the last few years. It started in June 2011 when we first joined the team who served the people in Bacoor, Cavite. We have witnessed the needs of the poor Filipino people, which many of us living in the United States of America have taken for granted. One of the needs is medical attention. Many of them benefited from the free medical, dental and surgical services the team had offered. Sad to say, most of them won't afford to get another one after getting the services they received. It was really heart breaking.

The Philippines is known as a Christian country but unfortunately, many are still lost. Many of them are caught up in the tradition and wrong doctrine, believing that they are Christians but the truth is they are not really following Christ and honoring Him in their lives. We may be able to help them with the temporary cure for their sickness but the spiritual health is more important.

Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 28:19-20

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This passage is known as the Great Commission. This is a call for all of Christ's disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. As believers, we all have a responsibility to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet, and sometimes that means moving out of our comfort zones and into areas and regions that exist beyond our own native land.
