How are we Preparing for the Missions Work in Baguio City?

Dr. Mark Tatlock, preaching about missions
Many of you might be wondering how do we equip our selves for the service in the missions. Here's a brief description of what we do to get our selves ready.

1. Missions Emphasis Week
Last March 18-22, 2015, the missions committee at our home church have organized the annual missions emphasis week. We were blessed with the opportunity to meet Dr. Mark Tatlock, President of the Master's Academy International, and be the speaker at the conference highlighting Missions in the church.
There was missions family night (March 18th), TMI Informational Meeting (March 20th), Missions Conference along with Kid's Missions Program (March 21st) and Preaching about Missions (March 22nd)

2. Training
We have been undergoing missions and cross-cultural training from March 1 to May 17, 2015 under our home church's missions committee leaders. We talk about the preparations for travel, cross-cultural discussion, religious and world view, serving effectively with the team, packing tips and safety precautions. Other than attending classes, we also do book reading and reports.

3. Fund Raising
We are raising support so we can go. Not everyone has the opportunity to go but the good news is that many can send people who can go. It's called partnership in the ministry. If you wish to support and partner with us, please click here.

4.  Meeting with the Team
The entire team was scheduled to meet with the founder of the Medmission2000, Inc., Dr. Tony Gatdula on May 16, 2015 to discuss the flow of activities in the Philippines and to fellowship with each other.
