There are so many reasons why we love doing the works of the Lord in the missions field but here are a few:

1. You obey the command of God.
Mark 16:15 says that we are to Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

It pleases the Lord to see his creatures bow down before him because He deserves to be worshiped.

3. You become the Lord's Instrument in Saving those He have chosen.
The life-changing gospel, that brings salvation is carried through missionaries. Paul and the other disciples were used by God to bring forth the Word of God even to the ends of the earth.

Challenges arise in the missions field but it makes you learn to trust the Lord more and let His sovereign will be done.

7. It will keeps you humble.
Even watching people and house starts getting smaller and smaller, when the plane takes off is enough to keep us humble. You'll see how small people are compared to the size of the earth, yet God cares for each and everyone of us.

8. It will make you feel contented of what you have.
You appreciate what you have because you have seen others who have less but are still happy. We complain less.

9. It teaches me to give more and be more selfless.
You desire more to be a blessing and help others. When you see the need, you're going to want to give even for sake of sacrificing.

Witnessing how the Lord saves will increase your faith  in God. It will remind you of how gracious the Lord has been to you.
