Why do we evangelize?

Here's two main reasons why it's a wonderful opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

1. We declare the glory of God.

God's glory is beyond the human comprehension of beauty. It is the beauty that is seen in His character. James 1:10 calls on a rich man to “glory in his humiliation,”  which means glory does not mean riches or power or material beauty.

Sing to the Lord, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!
- Psalm 96:2-3

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.- Matthew 5:16

Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.
- 1 Chronicles 16:24

2. God is concern for our fellow fallen man.

We all for short of the glory of God and we all deserve the eternal heal but God have chosen to show mercy to those whom He pleases to show mercy. Salvation comes from God alone.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
- Philippians 2:3-4

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:17

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15
