Featured Missionary: Drs. Tony and Cristeta Gatdula

Meet Drs. Tony and Cristeta Gatdula, both of whom are native Filipinos. Dr. Tony, who we affectionately call "Tito" which means uncle in the Filipino dialect Tagalog, is the visionary and founder of MedMission2000, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to glorifying God through medical missions. He is also an Elder at Hope Bible Church in Columbia, MD where Lannie and I are members. Pastor Tony is a retired general surgeon who is very skilled in conducting various types of surgeries. He also is a lover of God and of the Filipino people. So, it makes sense that he would use his skills as a surgeon and his love for God and people to serve the poorest Filipinos in some of the most depressed areas in the Philippines.
Dr. Cris, or "Tita Cris", is still practicing pediatric medicine in MD. She also loves The Lord and has a desire to see Filipinos set free from the bondage of sin and false religion by the power of the gospel. She has served faithfully alongside her husband for many years, treating thousands of children and adults in the Philippines.

Together with them, we will be heading back to the Philippines this Memorial Day weekend to serve The Lord through another medical mission. Would you consider reading the description of this campaign and partner with us in prayer and perhaps by contributing a financial gift?

God bless you.
