Typhoon Glenda Aftermath

Typhoon Glenda, aka Typhoon Rammasun is a tropical cyclone that made a destructive impact to the Philippines last July 14 to 15, 2014. According to Philstar.com, the number of casualties increased to sixty-four, while five others have remained missing. At least 103 people were also reported injured due to the typhoon.

Total damages to infrastructure and agriculture were estimated at P5.68 billion ($130.45 M).

Power blackout had been experienced in some parts of the provinces of Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, Quezon, and Metro Manila.

This is just one of the many problems that the Philippines is facing at the moment but we believe that the Sovereign Lord  knows everything and has wonderful plan for everything. All things belong to Him and His will shall be done.

I am the Lord, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;
I equip you, though you do not know me,
that people may know, from the rising of the sun
and from the west, that there is none besides me;
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
I form light and create darkness,
I make well-being and create calamity,
I am the Lord, who does all these things.

“Shower, O heavens, from above,
and let the clouds rain down righteousness;
let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit;
let the earth cause them both to sprout;
I the Lord have created it.
~ Isaiah 45:5-8
Please pray for the people of the Philippines specially those who have been greatly affected. We look forward to arriving in a few days, assessing how we can be a greater help for the people who undoubtedly have been affected by this powerful storm.
